Certificate Level 3 in Championing Sustainability in the Workplace (NCFE)

Overview

This Level 3 qualification equips learners with the knowledge, skills, and understanding needed to support sustainability practices in the workplace. It provides a strong foundation for roles such as environmental or sustainability coordinators and assistants, or for those pursuing further study in environmental science and sustainability.

Upon completing the course, learners can participate in our Reach Program, applying their skills in real-world settings. They can travel for 3 months to destinations like Egypt, Ghana, Tanzania, Indonesia, and more, gaining hands-on experience with sustainability projects and building their professional networks.

This immersive opportunity provides practical experience and a solid foothold in the sustainability sector, preparing learners for future success.

Global internship Oppportunities with the Reach Program

The LITC Reach Program offers fully-funded, 2weeks internships in countries like Egypt, Ghana, Japan and Kenya. Covering travel, accommodation, and meals, it allows participants to gain hands-on experience in community development, education, and ecological conservation. Learners will apply their sustainability skills, build professional networks, and make a lasting impact, all while growing personally and professionally through this transformative opportunity.

What you’ll learn

The Certification Level 3 in Championing Sustainability in the Workplace is accredited by NCFE. This means it undergoes a rigorous process to meet educational and professional standards in the workplace.

Credits are internationally recognised under the European Qualifications Framework. This diploma is also CPD certified.

The course consists of 9 units, including 7 mandatory units and 2 optional units, with a total of guided learning hours spread over 12 weeks. It is designed for around 15-16 hours of study per week, incorporating lectures, workshops, group activities, and independent research.
